Battery Voltage Question
Hi, I'm hoping you guys can tell me if this is normal. I just had LG headers put in with a tune and ported the throttle body in my 2006 M6. Well, when I start her in the garage I noticed the running light and tail lights were flickering. Well, when it warms up and I take her on the road the flickering stops.
So as I'm driving down the road, my battery voltage on the DIC is about 14.0 to 14.1. And when I'm stopped at a red light it reads about 13.5 to 13.6. When I pull into the driveway and let it idle for a couple of minutes it DROPS all the way down to 11.5 to 11.8......... Is this normal?? or do I have an area of concern????

I have an auto trans Vette that was dropping volts in gear at idle after a tune. My tuner simply increased the idle speed and the problem went away. I would think that with the manual trans your idle would be set a bit higher.

11.5 - 11.8 seems a little low.
