All very possible. I don't know how to check the cats though. Additionally, I already ordered a diablosport tuner so I can read what the TPS sensor is saying. (As well as lots of other good stuff)

As I said in your other thread, the easiest and quickest way to know if you have problem is to ask your friend with the Corvette to do an acceleration run with your iphone app. It doesn't matter that it's accurate, only that it is precise. So if you show it running 5.4 and your friend runs a 5.4, you know your car is okay, even if the actual time is 4.5, or whatever.

Your problem is likely that torque mgmt is killing it when you just hammer down on the throttle.

Instead of doing that, quickly roll into the throttle and you'll likely obliterate your tires.

My XLR-V is still on the stock tune and if I mash it it's a DOG until it gets up to about 3k and actually feels like it downshifts and hits, but if I roll into the throttle it will smoke them through first gear.

And please...don't trust those phone app numbers

If you were referring to my post, I was not asking him to trust the phone app numbers. I said that there is a difference between being accurate and being precise. Whether it is accurate or not is not important. It is just a matter of it being precise, i.e., being able to distinguish and report small differences.

So, if the phone app is precise and can distinguish acceleration differences between his car and his friend's car, it will at least give him that information, so if it reports his car as 5.4 seconds and his friend's car at 4.8 seconds, that's valuable information. If the phone app reports a 5.4 second 0-60 but it is not accurate, then that number is not worth anything.

When you launch, are you dumping the clutch? Do you have the z-51 package? LS2 or LS3?

Thanks for your help.
Either dump the clutch or ease in and stomp it... doesn't matter, they spin. I can spin and push the back end out just turning into trafiic with a little "emphasis". LOL
I have the Z-51 and LS2 (2006 coupe).
I'm hoping to greatly reduce it with new tires (non-runflats). My runflats have 16k on them... "decent" tread... but they are hard as a rock...maybe cause they're 5 years old with minimum mileage?? I don't know, but I think they're a big factor in spinning under power. I just emphasize the point becasue if yours are runflats and hard and won't spin, then your power is definately suspect.
Best of luck!

Well no, I was referring to the OP, but actually in responding to your post I'd say that there really isn't an easy way to measure how precise it is either.

If it records the same 0-60 for both cars who would say it's right for either? If it records a different time for both who could say it was right for either?

It simply should be used for nothing more than a toy to play around with. As you said, it isn't worth anything.

If it records the same 0-60 for both cars, and consistent records that time, the conclusion should be that the OP's car is not low on power and performs normally, and that should satisfy his original question.
