Default Remove bottom cushion without removing seat

My ultimate goal is to get my drivers seat out of my car so that I can change the memory module (or switch, whatever is broken). My seat is adjusted as far back and nearly as far down as it can possibly go. I have been trying fruitlessly to get the seat out of the car, but I really can't get to the back two 15mm bolts holding the seat in. I've tried every specialty wrench/socket I can think of, but everything is either too thick or long, or can't get into the recess to actually get to the faces of the nut holding it in.

Unless someone has any other ideas, I've decided that my best course of action now will be to try getting the bottom seat cushion out with the seat still in, then maybe trying to supply 12v directly to the motor so I can get the seat moved. Is this going to be possible? What exactly do I need to do to get the bottom of the seat out?

Thanks for your time.

Four bolts and the seat comes out. Very simple.

Remove the plastic caps on the front and I think it is a 14MM socket.

Just thinking out loud.......on the off chance that only the switch is bad have you considered or tried to just remove the side panel and switch to try bypassing the switch with power?

I was just looking at Mez's thread on his seat mod, maybe it will give you an idea. And I'll keep thinking and looking.

I understand that, but I really can't get to the back bolts at all. I'm wanting to remove the bottom cushion without having to get the back two out.

And Rick:

Thanks very much, I'll certainly give that a shot, but I really feel like it is the memory module since my telescoping wheel won't move either.

Ahhh, could be just one of the connectors loose too. Maybe we need someone to mod an extension to those wires and connectors under the seat to move them someplace else. Seems a ridiculous design to have the seat so you can't remove it to make repairs. Good luck, and I'm still thinking.

These are the connectors in question. Maybe the OP could pull them out like I did for installing the zip ties. The seat is adjusted up but maybe the connectors could be hooked and pulled foreword.

Unfortunately I've already tried this to no avail.

Thank you for the suggestion though, yours is one the posts that made me helpful when troubleshooting this in the first place.
