check oil level?
ok so my 2007 c6 corvette has 30.000 miles on it. a few week ago my computer gave me a check oil level. so i did... it was a little low like just under the third hole on the dip stick. so i put some more oil in. about 1/4 of a quart. the massage eventual went away and i just chocked it up as the system being really sensitive. to night it came on again! pissed me off i have about 50 % left on the oil life and i know the oil level is just fine. i checked it to make sure. and as i suspected the oil level is perfect! all thee hole on the dip stick are filled.
what could this be? some sensor or something? has any one else experienced this? is this a common issue?
