Doors hitting fender
2007 convertible when opening the door it will try to hit the edge of the fender where the gap should be. It has happened twice on the driver's side and once on the passenger side. It's not always happening. Could the hinges be loose or the fenders? It's an IPC replica so I don't want the atomic orange paint chipped or scratched. Any idea what the issue is? I thought there was a thread about this but could not find it doing a search. Thanks.
there is 2 screws to pull the fender out a small amount, under the rear of fender and one in the center of fender by door, this one you will have to drop the rear inner fender cover to get at it.

advice - do the minimal.
sometimes you can spend more time going back and forth just to eek out that last mm and then somehow end up worse than you started.
oh and an extra set of hands makes the process MUCH easier.
Funny how a couple of 7mm screws can mess up body panels on a world class sports car. I love them any way. I would replace these screws with new ones by following pmj341's instructions. The screw maybe worn because it was not tight to begin with. Not a hard job, I've done it, passenger side.
The day I brought my '11 C6 home I had her parked on a slope of our driveway and the drivers door hit the fender. Took the car back the next day and they adjusted the fender. Kinda interesting to hear that others have had this problem.
