to cycle back and forth from 12hr to 24hr:
start the engine
turn on the radio
push & hold the "H" or "M" button for 5 seconds or so (until it beeps)
then push the **** that controls base/treble/etc. (each time you push this **** it toggles the hours setting)
BTW, that info. is NOT in the 2005 owner's manual, but it is in later versions of the manual.
