Default Peak speed shop ported intake vs Fast

MY last mod on my LS2-A6--will be the intake manifold, everything else is done, cam--headers--cai--cnc 243 heads--headers----with Peak , for $500 incl. shipping you can get your stk intake & throttle body done---$850 for a new Fast------what's everybody's opinion ??? RWHP going to be the same ?? Fast intake with stk trottle body ??? Is it worth saving --$350 ??? THANKS !!!

For the LS2, the FAST is a worthwhile investment. Porting the LS2 manifold provides solid gains, but it starts from a crappy manifold. If you have money, get the FAST. It should be worth at least another 10 HP on a H&C car.

I am in the same boat, I have done just about as much as I can to my 07 Z51 A6. So now I am looking at having the intake ported, maybe from http://www.peakspeedshop.com/ If you can OP, do a before and after dyno so that we can see how much HP/TQ you gained.

Good Luck!

Also OP, were you going to do a "Basic" or "Radical" porting for your LS2intake?

I have a radical porting one on her 05 and it was an improvement
i didn't want the LSX cause of it being an automatic car and pretty much stays in the lower rpm range especially when cruising
i forgot offhand where i got it from, but it looked very nice too
i also got the ported TB, but not sure if its really worth anything (from what i have heard from others)

Radical porting sounds like a plan for me as well.

I also spend most of my time in the 2,000 to 3,500 rpm range while DD.
