oil press question in ls3 cars

So my dad has a brand new gs the car now has 1700 miles on it and the oil pressure at idle isaround 55 and under acceleration it goes all the way up to 135. Im thinking this is way to much press considering me and my dad also have each 08 and 09 lls3vettes and they both run at idle around35 I think and under acceleration gets up to 70s. He took the gs to the dealership and the service writer said that the high press was normal. Just wondering what u guys are running oil press wise in your ls3s.

If it's a dry sump I've read here that they do run quite a bit higher than the wet sump LS3. Whether most go that high I don't know. Be patient for responses.
