2005 conv. radio software upgrade
C6 2005 Radio problems: I contacted my dealer about the software upgrade and they said they know nothing about it. Does anyone know of a dealer in central Illinois that will do this upgrade.

I think this is what you're talking about. Print it out and take it to them, maybe they'll figure out what they're doing. Or, do it yourself.

You asked about info for a dealer who knew nothing about the TSB. The dealer has the Tech II......and that is only needed to clear codes that "may or may not" exist.
If you want to try it yourself, here's lots of good info and a "possible" offer of help. Read it all, understand it, check it out and if you need help send a PM to mpuzach to see if he is still willing. Good luck.

I did mine myself without the TechII with no problems or issues and now it plays mp3 cds and supposedly the reception is better too. Just follow the directions and take your time. Easy fix unless you don't feel comfortable but I don't feel comfortable taking my car in and having some jackass at the dealer screw it up especially when they don't know what you're talking about.
