Mickey Thompson has a new 19" street radial out which will definately hook. 305-35/19 claiming to fit 10-12" wheels.

Hey Bill! there aren't very many choices in the 19's. Mickey Thompson has a ET street radial P305/35R19 which is also a 28/12.50 it fits a wheel size of 10-12". The big problem with some of these tires are the sidewall height, if you do not have enough sidwall flex then the tire has a tendency to not want to hook very good because the tire is just too hard at that point. Most of the corvette's i had the pleasure of seeing run at the LSX shootout at Indy earlier this month were running 17's and a few 18's and let me tell you they were pulling some good sixty foots. Had one launch just ahead of me and it hooked so hard i believe he broke an axle. The car ran in the low 9's and was a street legal car.
