Sir, are you looking for a builder in just your state or in the US? If it were me, I would go with http://www.katechengines.com/

I have also heard good things about http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/
and http://www.mtiracing.com/

Good luck with your mods!

Mast, Katech, HKE(Erik Koenig in Texas), Kurt Urban, are a few I would trust.

Find the fastest/craziest Alabama rednecks around (my wife is one so I'm qualified to say this) and see who they're using. If you can't find them.....they're usually not hard to find....HKE in Houston is hard to beat

We distribute only HKE engines. Just got off the phone with Erik today as a matter of fact. We are working through the backlog, dont let it put you off. If you want something contact me, now is the time to order. He is moving his shop out of the Houston area, we are a preffered distributor. Prices are changing, (going up) but we are still very reasonable for what we offer.

Erik is worth the wait. One of the local Phoenix guys has been beating on one of this LS1 builds with a 76mm turbo for the last 4+ years.

As ive said before, no black magic to building an engine... If you have a good machine shop and can use plastigage and a torque wrench, build your own and save a **** load of money.
