Default torque converter

we have 2011 gs with e force and headers only, had 484 tourque on dyno ---would like more power out of hole, would a tourque converter be the answer?

a tq converter doesnt add any power or tq but it gets you to your peak power/tq alot quicker which makes it faster.

389 peak tq seems really low for an eforce and headers

389 is VERY low, that's a supercharged LS3...dicky's and my stock internals/naturally aspirated LS2 automatics make almost that much.
