Default ACT Clutch

Does anyone recommend the ACT Clutch? or a Clutch that can handel 900rwhp? I saw the ACT Clutch Kit Heavy Duty (HD) "GM9-HDG6" or "GM9-HDR6" and they Torque Capacity is 925 ft/lbs.
Thank you,

A&A recommends the ACT clutch. I think Charlie at RPM has posted positively about them as well. I suggest you call Frank or Andy at A&A and inquire.

The ACT that A&A uses is the twin disk; T1S-G01. Rated at 850# with organic disks with high copper content. I have this one and love it. Smooth and light. Knowing what I know now I would opt for the T2S which uses a heavier pressure plate and is rated at 950#.

I would not opt for any single disk clutch from any vendor that would hold 900#. It's got to engage harshly.

It depends on your definition of harshly and driving ability. We have guys that DD our 11" Ceramic single that recently held 1111rwtq on the dyno and it will not leave you walking in circles either
