Default tire size question

Im trying to find out if upgrading the front tires to 255/40/18 and upgrading the back tires to 305/30/19 will cause any issues with the AH/TC on C6 stock rims?

Looking to run the R888's out back and want to keep the fronts with the same amount of overall diameter as possible.

The 265/35/18 sacrifice diameter and I dont want to add any more wheel gap.

Anyone know if this will cause issues?

I searched the forum but couldnt really find too much.

Thanks in advance.

The 305 is a shorter tire than stock and a 255/40 is a taller tire than stock. I think you will be rolling the dice as most people seem to go with the 305/265 combo.

I've found that in previous discussions that the active handling/traction control is far more forgiving than most think. I made sure to keep my relative tire diameters similar to stock, but I don't think it's nearly that sensitive.

While I'd run a 265/305 combo and just lower the car a bit, you should be fine. Why not just keep 245/305 though? A taller front tire and shorter rear tire will look odd I'd think.

I wouldn't mind running the 245/305 combo; however, I'm concerned about throwing off the ratio too much that will affect the AH/TC.
