Hoo boy did we used to do this all the time in high school. The flame can be several feet long. Can scare people behind you.

You can do it with an auto trans just fine, put it in 2nd gear, turn off key, pump away...turn on key, BANG!

Turns out not only can you blow the muffler up (check) but you can actually blow a head gasket too (check).

Default NPP Easy to identify

All he has to do is look at the mufflers. If he doesn't have the vacuum actuators mounted on the top of the exhaust pipe coming out of the muffler cans just behind the exhaust tips then he doesn't have the NPP system.

Been there, done that...blew the mufflers like sticking dynamite in a soup can.

And what the heck is this 'carb' thing you guys keep talking about?? I thought that Atkinson guy eliminated those a few years ago with that diet of his.

Atkinson had it wrong, the more carbs the better. Three twos give you 6 barrels of carbs, two fours give you 8 barrels.

A nice axle back exhaust will give you some noise on decel
