How to make back fire
The other posts are about stopping back fire, but lots of Ferraris and Lamborghinis do this, and you could probably consider it a feature.

Obviously, backfire can be accomplished a few ways, some better than others.

Considering they are quite affordable, i am thinking about it, although I like the BB exhausts too. Problem is, they look like a lot of work to install. Correct me if i'm wrong

I love the decel popping and gurgling when pulling up to a traffic light. I get the occasional small fireball out the tailpipe after hard accelleration as well.
It's kind of a warning to others (like flashing gang signs).

Want impressive backfires? Get an older car with a carburetor and a manual trans, run it up in second, turn the key off, pump the gas a few times and then turn the key back on. Can even cause flames to shoot out the mufflers.

thats not a back fire, thats raw fuel being dumped into the exhaust manifold, a real back fire is a knock on steriods and not cool, you could drill the manifolds and pump gas or propane in, and the everybody would think your a real stud
