I would sell the intake and get one for an LS3, then use CNC LS3 heads.

By the time you buy good LS2 heads, you could have the LS3 combo.

Just my opinion.

I put LS3 heads, FAST intake and cam on my LS2 and got 508 at wheels.

I paid about $1000 and got my stock LS2 heads CNC'd and made 485 rwhp with a moderate cam and FAST. There are several guys making 500+ rwhp with ported LS2 heads.

LS3 heads will flow a lot better over LS2's. Try looking into some PRC LS3, flowing 368 cfm at .650. PRC 250cc, perfect for a stroker application, or a nice maxx effort ls3.

Its not just about the head flow number, its shape and design of the ports as well.
We offer an HKE ported OEM head that has been proven to make substantial power with small to moderate sized cams. LS3 heads flow good from the factory is their selling point. But power and its characteristics are more than just a head that puts up a good number on a flow bench..
