Default Jack stands

Would someone guide me as to where the perfect area is to place jack stands. I have 2 really nice floor jacks and 4 jacking pucks as well as four stands. I am just simply not 100% positive where I should put the stands once it is up in the air. 2006 C6 if it matters.

Well, if you look in the Owner's Manual it will show you the "preferred" and "alternate acceptable" jacking locations, there are only 8 such points.

Here's an old tutorial with a lot of info that you probably don't care about but it shows the main points to follow. If you choose to fudge beyond the recommendations, well......you know. Just be careful and have fun.

The red dots in the diagram are the "preferred", the black dots are the alternated frame locations where the pucks go. But you don't really need the pucks if your jack/jack stands fit in the cutouts so they don't contact the rockers:
