Easy once you acutally do it and much cleaner in the end.
How long does it typically take this way VS. pulling the rack instead? How high do you have to lift the engine with this method?

Thanks,

I drop the cradle in 20 minutes and is very clean. Air tools make lift so much easier. I lift the engine approx 2 inches.

FWIW.

If one is to raise the engine 2 inches, IM better not be in placed; also, better be closely watching for the clearance between top of bell housing and lower fire wall when the engine is being raised.

-----

With Fast IM in placed, clearance is less than 3/8" at the top on my C6.

Clearance between top of bell housing and back of lower fire wall can easily verify from driver side, using flash light, there is a direct shot when looking past brake master and below valve cover, looks to be less than 1 1/2" on my car as is.

-----

It is in the instruction when installing A & A supercharger, it does simplify things and save time when done right!

My intention of posting this, is not to discourage dropping cradle and raise the engine, rather, not to misled; to avoid damaging surrounding body and parts, the process is a little bit more involved. Thats what I did! YMMV!

With the stock intake, there is plenty of room. With the FAST Intakes, we remove them everytime before lifting the engine.

Easy once you actually do it and much cleaner in the end.

Pretty sure the 2 ABS nuts referenced are for the vertical bracket that attaches to the front subframe and the ABS box where all the lines go to. If you look under the car on the drivers-side, it will be obvious.

Is this the part?

And the mystery nuts are shown as #7 or would it be easier to go after the bolts shown as #9?
