Camber Question

I am going to have to buy new front tires for the second time in 50,000 miles. I know this is because of the camber setting being so aggressive. They are wearing out on the inside edge. The rears show hardly any wear. If I change my camber to only a negative .20 from the .47 neg factory setting how much will this change the toe and which way will it change? Toe in or toe out?

I guess that's more than 16,000 on each set of tires - that's great life out of tires on a Vette!!!!

I think I'd recommend to leave the alignment where it is and be happy with such great wear life out of your tires!!

If anything, I'd be looking at a slight toe adjustment.

I know you didn't ask for this but I just wanted to point it out in case you're interested. Many here have gone to the Pfadt Street Alignment and report great results with both handling and tire wear. Notice the Toe setting is 0.0 as already recommended and the Camber is higher than you're running now. The key is finding an alignment technician who will work to get the specs exact rather than just shoot for the factory "range".

I just set up my alignment with the PFADT specs.

Front min max
Camber (deg) -0.7 -0.9
Caster (deg) 7.5 8.5
Total Toe -1/16" (0.17°) 0 (0°)
Rear
Camber (deg) -0.4 -0.6
Total Toe -1/16" (0.17°) 0 (0°)
Notes
These settings will provide good performance and good tire wear
