You may want to list your goals for the car and the type of drive ability you're willing to live with. Your choices above indicate that you want a pretty choppy idle that carries Hp out pretty far. Once you indicate what goals you have for the car, I suspect several members will offer their advice.

The quickest/fastest cam only LS2 (or LS3 for that matter) that I know of has a Cartek Performance Engineering (www.cartekracing.com - 908-317-4496) spec'd cam in it, give them a call if you're interested.
Here is the car if you'd wanted to read up on it:

Id like good mid range to top end power but also some decent tq. I had an ms3 in my camaro and I didnt mind it at all. Ill be gearing the car with either a 3.90 or a 4.10 and will mainly be doing rolls. Im not really trying to set any records i just want a decent cam that is also good with nitrous. id like to make around 440-450 wheel but I dont really know how achievable that is due to the ls2 intake manifold.

I would contact Pat G. He is good at providing people with custom cams, and has very good results. I've watched his cams, and his personal car run down the Texas Mile with great results.

I have the 4th cam you listed above. It is a really awesome cam. I think you would see around 450-460 with this cam and no head work. You would be really close to having PTV issues though. I had to flycut with my AFR215s.

My car with this cam, afr215s, and fast 102 made 492/450 and drives pretty damn well. I get a little slight surge when in 5th gear around 50 mph.

Curious what your goals are though? All out power? Street? Race?

Hope this helps. I have some idle clips also if you're interested.

The top three cams mentioned from Thunder all have a good history of making good power. The LSL lobed cam is newer and is making good power too.

I would be stoked with 450-460 cam only and im pretty sure with the stock 243s I wont need to fly cut. It would be awesome if you could post up some videos. Ill mainly be on the street but I would like to see low 11s At the track. Im also going to spray the car with a 150 shot.

Here is a cold start idle video with Borla Stingers. I am about to switch to a GHL Z06 kit which should really bring out the sound of the cam more. You can still tell that puppies in there though.

OP: Have you thought about changing out your ported LS2 manifold to a FAST manifold. It may help you with your goals.

Would for sure. OP would defiantly reach 450-460 with a fast. Or maybe even a good ported LS6 manifold, but if I were pulling the intake it would be for a fast 102.

Get the cam I have. Makes really good power all the way through the power band. Driveability is pretty good and it sounds nasty at idle. I'm going to get it redynoed here pretty soon since I added the manton 11/32 pushrods, nw102 tb, and 100mm maf. Im thinking im somewhere around the 470-475rwhp range.

hell yea, I decided to sell my h/c and go cam only and Id like to have my car comparable to yours but I know not having the fast intake is going to kill me.
