Default valve wipe pattern - big cam with stock LS3 heads

I have a 227/231 .613/.617 cam for the motor that I'm building, which is a stroked LQ9 with stock LS3 heads. I'm using stock LS3 rockers with Comp trunions. When I checked the wipe pattern on a couple valves, it seemed very wide to me. Here's a pic:

Does this look acceptable, or should I try to shim the rockers in order to achieve a tighter wipe?

never heard of it being too wide, just needs to be centered. shim the rockers is also news to me.
