What are you running now? Any problems? I'm running FI and using the LS9 's plug.
Stock ones.At times it hesitates on start & seems to miss out at low speed in 2nd (Auto). What is FI ? & what plug is in the LS9?
The LS9 uses AC 41-104 gapped at .041 They are smaller gap and I believe they are 1 level cooler than most stock. Think of a very good plug that will last longer than the TR6.
The LS9 (638hp) plug is also the Z06 (LS7) 505 hp plug which I have been using of late in my bolt on LS3. Don't know if anything has improved or not but the car runs fine. I will get around to checking them sometime.
Unless you have increased your compression from stock all I would recommend you doing would be to replace the plugs with a new set of stock AC Delco's and a new set of MSD plug wires.

Talk to people who have been around the block a few times.
Most people "think" that using something different is better than OEM; well the AC plugs for the newer C6 are "top shelve" plugs made by a top shelve company and the stock plug wires are hard to beat too in the real world, period.
I've been running TR6's (TT set-up) and change them out every 3500 miles. At $2/each it's cheap and I like having fresh plugs on an FI set-up.

With all due respect, the stock wires are single crimped and junk. More than once I've seen the oem plug wires come apart, where the wire is crimped at the boot, when just attempting to separate the wire from the spark plug. MSD spark plug wires are worth every penny.

good call on the MSD wires, they should serve you for a while. As mentioned, the NGK TR 5 is the correct replacement plug but I prefer the AC Delco's on a stock headed LS2 NA setup.

Mine came apart on me the second time I had to remove them when doing my header swap, the MSD's are a great replacement wire!

Are the NGK's only $2.00 a piece?? I checked on the Denso plugs on Parts House Warehouse & they are on sale for about $16.00 a plug, must be a good plug ? Those plugs that Gering is using are expensive also.I look at it this way,the more it cost the better the product is (could be wrong tho)

The Iridiums are expensive. I use just the standard TR6's because the car is a twin turbo set-up and I change the plugs every 3500 miles.
Oriely's matches the lowest price I found (which is $2/each). http://www.texas-speed.com/p-102-ngk...ark-plugs.aspx

Are the AC Delcos Iridiums ? The center electrode looks the same as the Densos (Very thin).
