Hey folks, recently I traded in my '98 C5 which was in really rough shape, for a c6. It has a stock motor LS2, vararam, LG super pro 1 3/4" catted headers, Z06 mufflers with M2W and LG's G6XE cam all tuned by them. I don't really have much info other than the car has 74k miles on it and it drives like stock, I can lug it around at 900 rpm all day long if I want to.
Two different graphs, one is with the muffler valve open and one shut. Here is the graph:
future mods: port the 243's, g6x3, z06 muffler mod and fast 102/102, NX express kit my friend has laying around.
I had this cam in my LS2 and it made 443 with the FAST and basically the same supporting mods. I have since changed it out to something bigger and AFR heads.
I wonder how much the cats are killing it? Prolly not worth taking them out, I really want to do the tfs 215's but I don't think the budget is there for them

You should consider the AFR205s. They can be had used pretty cheap and they will work better with that cam. I did the AFR215s with that cam and the cam just didn't come close to maximizing the potential of those heads. I went from 467 with the AFR215s, XE & Fast 102 to 492 with just a cam change.
The cats aren't holding you back that much. Maybe 3-5 hp. Not worth the effort.

hmm that sounds pretty darn good...I do plan on going with the g6x3 at the very least as far as cam upgrades go....as for heads, I'm just going to keep my eyes out for a deal, but first thing is going to be a 102/102 combo and a clutch.

Awesome!. 102/102 should add you 25-30 wheel. When you do the G6X3 you will make over 500 I am sure.
I'm sure the 102/102 combo is way overkill for my current setup and I wouldn't be surprised if I lost even more bottom end, but I am shooting for that magical 500 number when it's all said and done with the other mods I mentioned before.

Congrats on the C6, hope you are enjoying it!
I believe the Trick Flow as cast 220's are a great value, might want to look into them while your evaluating replacement heads for your LS2.
Sounds about inline for an X1....are you sure it is the G6X1 and not a G5X1?
A FAST intake will make a big change in torque, not so much peak, but a ton more across the board.
Of course if you are looking at going to a bigger cam, might I suggest a G5X3 on a 112 over the G6X3, but that would depend on what you do for heads.
Yeah I called you guys a couple days before the dyno and you looked up the work that was done on the car in your computer. I was told you guys had installed the G6XE cam kit and that with some supporting heads/mods you would recommend the G6X3 to push me over the 500whp mark.
I've always had amazing customer service/parts from you guys at LG and I'd like to keep this car in your house. :-)

Reason: LG is the best.
