I have a noise occurring when the heater is running. It is a humming noise that actually sounds like it is coming from behind the seats, but that makes no sense to me.
The noise is not random, but sort of a continuous rhythm. It stops immediately when I turn off the Heater.
Suggested fix is appreciated.
When the blower fan/motor starts making noise, most of the time it's heard coming from under the dash, where it's obviously located. But, maybe in your case you're getting sound transferred down/through the console, maybe? I don't know. If you can isolate it to be definitely the blower fan/motor it does seem to be one of the few simple replacements on the car.
Anyway just for info, from member HOXXOH:
Pop out two fasteners from the panel under the glovebox. Unplug the electrical connector. Remove 3 screws from the fan assy. and you're done.

Great suggestion, but the noise does not occur with the AC so it would seem that the noise would be present with both, don't you agree?
I had the extra pleasurable experience of pulling a family dead baby mice from the heater fan of my 6 month old Grand Sport last winter. They made the fan out of balance and it made a resonant humming noise inside the car. Pull the cabin air filter out and was able to see inside the heater fan with a mirror and/or boroscope. Sucked the dead tiny mice out with a a piece of 3/8 vacuum hose taped onto a shop vac.
