Heat coating on headers

First, how many of u have it? Second, whose did you use or did u find a package deal? Third, is it actually worth it? Read thread from 2007, but source may have had a sales bias ...

I bought my LG lontubes from a local person that had them coated by Jet-Hot. They still look new years later. I think reducing the under-hood temps is a good thing. Questionable if they add any power.

I've had many sets of headers Jet coated. It really,really reduces the heat the headers throw off just in case you have any close plug wires.

If you care about how they look then go for the coating. As was stated any horsepower gains is questionable. Can't comment on under hood heat reduction.
