Default Feedback Noise During Throttle?

Hi,

Lately I've noticed a strange noise whenever I'm at light throttle. The noise seems to change pitch and loudness with the amount of throttle I give it. It only seems to be noticeable during the first 1/8-1/4 throttle. After that the cam and exhaust drown out everything else so who knows. During low speeds (0-40) it's more of a buzz sound. At highway speeds though it sounds like electrical reverb or something. I can just tap the throttle a little and hear it for a quick second and then it disappears unless I'm back on the throttle. It's a H/C/4.10 LS2 with Spec clutch. Stock radio and electronics, etc. No major mods done for about 2 years. Honestly, for all I know this noise has been there forever and I never noticed it. For some reason the other day I became very aware of it and you know how that goes now...

Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks

Is it electronic?

Does it do it when the car is not moving? If not then it's something in the drive train.

I'm very sensitive to NVH too and sometimes hear something similar. It sounds like a spring hitting harmonics to me. Let me know what you find our. The shifter detent has a spring that's not quite tight that I only hear when in manumatic mode too. This may be seat springs or something.

I don't hear it when the car is stopped. So i guess it's only happening while in motion. I tried turning the radio on and off to see if that made a difference, nothing. I also tried holding the shifter to see if it was something in there but that had no affect. It also does it while on cruise control, since it's getting throttle input. Any ideas?
