I did a search. Found 10 pages of posts with the words NPP and install in them but none answered my question.
I have an 08 Vert. Z51 package ( in case it matters). I bought a set of NPP mufflers that came off an 08 coupe. Are they a direct bolt on without modification? Do the old mufflers just unbolt and the NPP bolt back on or do the old mufflers need to be cut off and the NPP welded on?
Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can offer. Any pics of where the bolt on would be helpful too
Should be plug and play. Take off old mufflers. Install new mufflers. No welding or cutting. Reuse factory clamps. Run vacuum line to rear. Devise some way to control the vacuum that you ran to the rear. SunCoast Creations comes to mind for me

Thanks Elmer I appreciate your belief that it should be plug & play. I am hopeful to hear from someone who has done it KNOWS that it is plug and play.
I have looked at the NPP in a box and Suncoast creations. Is there a difference?
Sorry Elmer, I didn't realize that you had done it. Also posting just doesn't seem to say things like I mean them. I wasn't trying to be an ***, I just wanted to know from someone that had done it. Sorry that I came across that way.

Naw, we're good. I been under that darn car changing the plumbing often trying to get something that could be loud and quiet (no drone). I tried B&B bullets, B&B Rte 66, of course the stock system and then stumbled on the NPP. It does all that I wanted. Kinda balsy loud when I open the flaps and totally sedate on the highway with Momma in the passenger seat.
The sunset creations kit was my choice because I wanted to run the flaps from a button on the sun visor rather than the Fob thing. The 2007 had the bastard sunvisor and sun was the only one that would program to the visor. All you need is a controller of the vacuum that goes to the NPP.
I ended up also removing my H-pipe in order to get the NPP mufflers to fit on my 07. Just a tad too little space. I then went with Nakidparts M2W controller that uses vacuum from the engine to controll the NPP valves.
Direct bolt in with no welding or cutting as long as it's an NPP from an '08.
Removal of the old axleback is simple, get the car high enough in the air to pull the axleback pipes over the axles, unbolt the mid pipe and remove it, unbolt the clamps on the sway bar and let it swing down then remove the old axleback. Install the NPP axleback by reversing the steps above. No need for anything other than some patience and hand tools.
