Default Need help asap!!

Guys, having a problem bleeding the front brakes on my 2006. Disconnected both front calipers overnight to paint them, and today reconnected everything and the front will not bleed. No air, no fluid nothing comes front the fronts. Both rears bleed just fine. The reservoir of course emptied out from being disconnected overnight. Whats my problem? and advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks all.

Did you remount them on the correct sides of the car???

I've read a number posts like yours, and the problem has always been that the calipers were mounted with the bleed valves on the bottom.

Are your bleed valves on the top of the calipers???

If not, then you need to swap the calipers to the correct side.

If they are on the correct side, I dunno!! Perhaps if you let the system drain too much, fluid may have drained out of lines to the EBCM/BPMV and you'll need a Tech 2 to properly bleed the ABS system.

Yes, the Tech 2 is a dealer tool that can be used to cycle the valves in the ABS for a full brake system flush/bleed.

should not need tech2

u have to bleed the mastercylinder first

keep filling resivior and pumping slowly until u see some fluid come out of open bleeders

Sorry guys. Ended up having to take to a dealer and use tech 2. Once the reservoir was drained supposedly to bleed the fronts, the ABS module has to cycle open. Can only be done with tech 2. So note to anyone doing some brake work, don't let the front completely drain!!
