Power source question.

I am going to install a Zeitronics Z3 wideband tomorrow and I'm running out of switched power sources to tap. I'm wondering if just tapping into the M2W connection which is on my heated seat fuse would be ok. I never use the heated seats so I don't think the power draw would be much.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Good choice. That is the one used often.

thanks. I know its used often and its used for my M2W switch. My question is more...is it ok 2 connect a second thing to the same source.

depends how much the maximun electrcal draw of everything on maximum will be so as not to overload circuit pop fuses and melt wiring fire

Update..

I installed my wideband this morn and all went well. I tapped off the heated seat fuse with the M2W. I don't see a problem as they aren't used much. I connected the wideband to my aeroforce and to hptuners and it was much easier then I thought to get it working right.
Gotta love the satisfaction of doing this stuff yourself.

No need to use the heated switch for the NPP switch man. I initially wired mine like that thinking NPP would be closed all the time, but still opens at 3,500 rpm. Therefore rewired it using NPP only, like shown below (turn circuit 180º so lead is on the left side. NPP terminal still goes on the LEFT side, leaving right empty). Just rewire yours like that and use the heated switch for your other project. And no, it's not okay to wire three things to one circuit. And to wire something to a circuit, the circuit should be 10A or less (like the heated seats), AND the new accessory has to draw 10A or less too. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input. My NPP isn't factory so it only works with the M2W switch. I will check tomorrow what's in that spot but I don't think I have that NPP fuse.

Finished up this morn. Decided on how to do the connection for HPtuners. I'll leave this coiled in the glove box with my Alky Control, in easy reach for when logging.
