Default Borla Exhaust

Below is a quote from a thread last year concerning the new Borla exhaust systems:

"Borla has just released 3 brand new exhaust systems that completely eliminate drone and provide the classic "Stinger", "ATAK" and "Touring" sound levels Borla is known for."

Does anyone have any experience with these new systems? I've had Stingers on mine for two years. I love the sound, but I hate the drone at 1600 RPM.

If I can find a system that sounds similar but doesn't have the drone, I'll probably buy a new system and sell what I have.

Along the same line, what would be a fair asking price for my Stingers? They have 3,000 miles on them.

Just installed the Stinger Type II system on an '06 C6. IMO the sounds is awesome and has no drone. I had a Stinger system on a C5 and at about 2,500 RPM you didn't want to be in the car. These sounds nothing like those. I am very impressed. There was some bad press on the fitment on here the last couple of weeks. I had a problem with mine and Borla sent me new overaxle pipes. I reinstalled the new pipes and have had no problems. I think you will like them.
