Finally made my way to the Nurburgring here in Germany. What an awesome experience! Can't wait to get back up there with some upgrades. It's very difficult to navigate the track, its 20.8km long, almost 13miles!
Looks like you had fun. Advice: steering with one hand and a death grip on the gear shifter is very bad form and is asking for trouble. You should probably take a "High Performance Driving" class before your next lap.

Yeah, I noticed that as I was watching the video. They have courses I believe there at the Green Mile and at a few other tracks in the area, I am going to look into getting in somewhere. That was my first time on a closed road course, its a little crazy that they allow anyone with any car during almost any conditions to go up there and take a lap. I was pretty nervous, especially after seeing a few bikes get put up on flatbeds.
Oh, I believe my time was 9:23, however I am not sure where the official start and stop areas are, could be longer. Either way I had a blast and really got to experience what the car can do.

Reason: time
It's embarrassing to say. But there are some really good racing video games for PS3 and XBox 360, such as the Forza series that have mapped most of the big name tracks around the States and the world with Fantastic detail and realism. It might be worth it for a track junkie to check it out if he/she plans on traveling to such a track. You could use it as a tool to get a good sense of what you'd be running on.
I have not been to the Nurburgring (at least not yet), what is all the writing/chalk on the track about and why were there so many cars parked along the side of the track in the first minute of the video?
The Germans are great about letting you drive your car as fast as you want. I was in Germany about 15 years ago and the Autobahn was getting too congested to run flat out at that time, can't imagine what it is like now.
Next time you go out, you may want to empty the car of all moveable objects including floor mats, anything in the glove box and center console and invest in a good helmet. I like driving shoes too, the thinner soles give great brake pedal feedback. HPDE is very addictive!
