Caliper covers are like a bad toupee. In person, everyone will say it looks good, but behind your back they'll be laughing. Just paint them with a high temp paint.

Have you seen the 2012 Centennial editions? And the wheels are not zr-1, they are spiders.
But that is a matter of opinion and that's okay. We can agree on that. You don't like the wheels I chose and I don't have to like caliper covers. That is why there are chocolate and vanilla ice cream favors!!!
I don't know what these covers are made of, but would it have an effect on the cooling of the caliper? I chose to paint mine and while i was at it, that little GM sign behind the door. Dab a little paint on it then wipe it off with a clean rag. You will be shocked on how it makes it stand out.
