GM caliper rebuild kits
I am in the process of rebuilding the calipers on my 05 Z51, I ordered the rebuild kits from the local GM dealer, they had to be shipped from Lansing, MIchigan.I got the rear put together with no problem but really stumbled with the fronts, tearing a dust boot while assembling one of the fronts. I was having an awful time trying to get them on, so I brought the remaining kit and both calipers to the dealer. They ordered the same number kit as the remaining one GM part #19208030. The next day they called me and wanted me to come to the dealership, they had one caliper done using the kit that I had given them, but the one that GM sent them had the incorrect boots, so they special ordered another kit and it had the same problem. They are ordering the same part number but getting different boots from what I originally got. So now I have a car with only one front caliper on it and its dead until GM can sort this issue out. Has anyone had or heard of this issue??
