I recently did an upgrade, nothing that intruded on the wiring of the car except adding a boost a pump which was spliced into the fuel pump gray wire. When attempted to start, the gauges all sweep like a normal start but no starter activity. I have had the starter and battery checked out, no issues. I have swapped a few like relays to isolate those as well, no change. I had the steering rack out for replacement of the harmonic balancer. Steering wheel was tied off but did turn slightly. I have read about the steering clock spring. Is there a way to bypass this to verify if it is defective? I am assuming the ECM is okay being that I get DIC info and other operations. ECM was sent out for a mail order tune . I checked the connections on the ECM, proper seating of relaying in the engine and passenger area. Inspected the crank/run assembly for security. Being fighting this for several days, any thought are greatly appreciated.

Could be a coincidence to happen at the same time, but my starter solenoid melted and allowed the contact point of the stud holding the power wire to separate from the contact on the starter side, and arcing occurred and no power to the starter. Visibly it was fine, but internally it wasn't.
