Congrats! I have kooks 1 3/4 with cats and at WOT, it's pure sound delight. Yes, loud, ... Man up!

Yes, it is going to be considerably louder. I just did this with my Camaro, 1st in the world actually, to get it working. I used 1 7/8 ARH and the Camaro ZL1 dual mode exhaust and it is really loud when you get on it. While cruising it isn't too bad. Just WOT.

Yes it will be louder but I will sound awesome. I have a switch on mine so I open them when I feel in that mood but for the most part I keep them closed. I have no issues with the law when I do have them open though. Here is a video of mine.

Yes, it will be quite loud when the mufflers open without cats at WOT. I wouldn't want to do too much normal driving without the mufflers shut, but that's the beauty of dual mode.

Just my .02, but I wouldnt go with anything less than 1 7/8 tube on the LS3. I have them on my '11 GS A6. Nick from ARH recommended them strongly for the LS3. Give him a call and talk to him before you pull the trugger on a smaller diameter tube.

i may have to check into it a bit more...i talked to the guys at LG motorsports and they said to definitely not go with 1 7/8 because it loses way too much tq compared to the 1 3/4. They said the LS3 doesnt quite flow enough air to justify the 1 7/8 headers....im confused now haha

Unless you're going to more cubic inches or FI 1 7/8 isn't going to be of any benefit. Even then it's questionable. Plenty here with 1 3/4 and rediculous amounts of horsepower. Careful who you listen to here on this forum.

i appreciate it! yea thats what i thought. for all my final questions i always call LG since they are always happy to answer my questions and i take their advice and do exactly as they say since they do so much development on these cars. they told me even if i do a cam down the road to stick with 1 3/4 headers. but thats wayyyyyy down the road for me. just sticking to bolt ons for now

Bigger is not always better. 1 7/8" may work better...on an LS7. Stick to your guns on this, because LG knows what they're talking about. And don't let anyone try to convince you to dump your perfectly-good exhaust, either. Also, you won't notice any power difference if you dump your cats so, unless you need to unleash as much stink and every db of noise possible, why do that? Just asking...

I have the Hi-Flow cats and believe me, you can be heard from far away. My neighbors appreciate the NPP exhaust.

You might ask LG if Streets are a better choice for you, than Pros. Bigger is not always better.
