I am looking for a good shop manual for my 05 vette. Any suggestions? I bought one a hwhile back and it was very high level and didnt help much at all. I dont want to waste the money on another one that doesnt give me the details i am looking for. Thanks.
The factory service manual is going to be as good as it gets but not exactly cheap. The vendor GM Parts House (Gene, Patrick) here on the forum is a good source.

Gots to agree, the Helms are the best without a doubt. However, I bought a GM DVD manual set for like $20 on Flea-bay and it was better than nothing. Not the same format as the Helms and a bit difficult to use, but worth the $20 IMHO if you have nothing else.
I have the Helms 3 set service manuals for my 98, 02 ZO6 and the Service manuals on DVD for all 95-2005 GM Cars.
I help a LOT of people and having that DVD sure helps. Sometimes you can use the 98 service manual for 97-98 & 99 cars without much issue.
2000 cars needs its own manual especially for the electrical.
The 2002 manual normally covers 2001, 2002 & 2003 without any major differences. The 2004 is another car that requires it own manuals. Lots of changes!
Iam looking to get the newest DVD that covers all the C6 years as I now own a 2011 GS.
