Yes havent been on in awhile. as i had gotten rid of my 2004 vette, since then had two 2010 camaro's.. BUT Back in the saddle again, with a 2005 vett.. Anyway's, i was wondering on my radio/cd player and its operation. I Have the one with the navagation, and when i try to set and see the auto volumm all i get is either on or off ?? - I thought there was suppose to be a low mid and high setting. ? And when i set it on , i am hard pressed to say if it's working.. - AND I NOTICE THAT WITH TOP OUT AND MUSIC I PLAY,, I CANNOT get enough volume,? - oNLY WAY TO DESCRIBE IS it get's to a max when tuning **** and then no more ? and still isnt breaking up but wont go louder. sorry for cap on and or spelling... Glad to be back

Better to post this in the General/audio section. I've seen posts before about the auto-vol not working, seems it would likely be the HU is worn out or busted. And the volume level is likely the HU limit as stock systems are not all that great. I'd look into a new HU, new amps and new speakers ... glad I did and it was a 400% improvement. Good luck ...

Welcome back!
There is an update to the 2005 nav radios. I did it years ago and the radio has been fine ever since. I would think this could fix your problem as well.
