Default Peculiar impression

My 2007 coupe has a peculiar impression--I wouldn't call it a dent; it's too shallow--just in front of the rear end cap on the driver's side rear fender. When I bought the car, I though it was just a poorly-fitting end cap like we saw in the eighties, but I have not seen it on any other car. Apparently, it's a dent, but the paint has not cracked and there are no marks.

Has anyone seen anything similar? I wonder if a dent wizard place might be able to push it out?

Thanks

Terry

Sounds almost like a heat related issue, as if it was parked too close to a very hot/concentrated heat vent for an extended period or something?
Is your laundry room dryer vented into your garage right next to your car by any chance LOL.

Dent wizard places work on metal, since your car is plastic they can't do much.

Corvettes don't dent , they crack. Consider it a birth mark. Willing to bet it's black or a dark color.

If you want to attempt a little DIY, remove the outer tail light then reach in and push up on the area while gently heating the 'dent' with a hair dryer.

Pics would help.
