You are correct. We stock most any pan a customer could need but did not want to install one with the package considering the large number of applications these are purchased for.

Any dyno sheets with an otherwise stock intake manifold?

so everything else is transferred from my LS3 and dropped right back in???

any chance for a little more head work and cam to squeeze out a little more power???

also im assuming the 615 horses are with the stock manifolds, intakes???

also what would you say about running E85 on this motor???

thanks

The numbers aren't adding up...a 4.068" bore with a 4" stroke gives 416 in³. Are the pistons .060" over???

Hopefully SDPC will be back in to clarify, but usually these crate motors are dyno'd with a generous carborated manifold setup to get peak numbers/airflow and for ease of dyno testing.

IF that is the case here - which I suspect given the application towards hot rods in general - then I would expect noticeably less HP from our more restrictive intakes.

HP numbers are assuming typical in vehicle applications, no tricks. This means LS3 style intake and headers. This particular setup was dyno'd using a stock L76 intake. The engine dyno sheet is at the bottom of this post. It's actually a sheet where we tested non-CNC heads vs CNC heads on this particular engine.

I'd love to estimate rwhp for you guys but it can vary so much car to car and dyno to dyno that it's not fair to try to do so. The most recent installation at an independent third party shop made 520rwhp in an automatic C5 (3200 converter).

Whileas I can not guarantee rwhp results, I can guarantee that the 615hp claim is honest and utilizes no tricks.

WOW! Color me impressed!

You'll definitely be on my short list, should I ever need a new motor... Lol.

Boy, this would have been a nice option to consider when I blew my LS2 a couple months ago. Nice looking build with the dyno numbers to back it up!
