Default C6 widebody install questions

Hey,
Im about to get my wide body kit back from my painter this weekend. I Just had a few questions:

1. I hear of people spraying the undercarriage with some type of liner to deaden the noise. What kind of spray liner do yall use and is it recommended?

2. For the Rear Quarter panels, did any of you have to modify that padded bag that goes where the brake ducts run or did you just stuff it back in there?

3. And i also have the zr1 style splitter, do yall recommend getting the reinforcement for it? i dont race and i barely take the car over 120.

4. And if i run into any problems, is there anyone that wouldnt mind me contacting them during the install?

Thanks again!

Tony

I just installed the rear of mine yesterday. As far as the padded bag goes I just stuffed them back where they were and there was plenty of room for the air ducts to go through.

I did a full front to back conversion on my white c6.... I just removed the plastic bags. They were too cumbersome trying to squish them while trying to get the rear vents aligned and clipped in. I haven't noticed any extra road noises etc. The rears go on easy w no issues... The front is a bit more work trying to align the fenders w the door lines and the headlights. I did mine by myself and I wish I had an extra pair of arms sometimes lol. But the pay off is worth it obviously. Good luck. You'll love it.

Ok awesome! Thanks a lot guys!! Yea I'm doing a full front to back conversion as well!! The backs do seem pretty easy. Not looking forward to the front now!! N hopefully I won't need those bags. They seem in the way. N looks great yellow!! I'll have an extra set of arms there with me so hopefully it makes it easier. Thanks a lot guys!

Black is one of the easier colors to match. Cyber gray or atomic orange I'd worry about.
