I know this is ongoing problem, anyone with recent info. Had mine looked at aprox 1 yr ago and the 2 clip fix installed and it was working fine until Friday. Now getting the warning for service. Changed the rotors and pads 2wks ago, the only thing now is in checking my brake fluid it looks like it has cotton in it, would that effect this system? Thanks for any info.

may not help in your case-but on my 2008 I had the warning come up few times.Read that it maybe the connector under steering column,so I thigten it,but it showed up again. So I adjusted the exit position on the steering column to be fully extended and not retract for exit.Haven't had a message in 2 months.FWIW

best advice is to get the codes read, when the message is present. a link i put together, you may have already read it, or maybe its too wordy, but posting for your reading (or not) pleasure....
