Default Minor Modification Setup.

Hello Everyone,

I recently just purchased and installed an axelback exhaust as well as cold air intake on my 2007 c6 a6 coupe. I was interested in purchasing the Diablosport predator tuner as well.

With these kind of tuners and my current set up, what is the expected gain in hp? Is it worth to purchase? Also, with this type of handheld tuner, does the car need to be put on a dyno and adjusted or is it simply just plug and play?
I appreciate the help. Thank You!

Default @jdileo Tuner and Upgrades

Awesome upgrades jdileo. Sounds like you got yourself a crisp setup. Even with simple upgrades like exhaust and intake, the stock PCM only can make small adjustment to compensate for the extra air and exhaust flow. From our knowledge of the Diablosport tuner, it comes originally programed with different octane maps. If you want a quick plug an play tuner this is a great handheld to crisp up the tune. The handheld is still tunable if you ever wanted to run it on a dyno as well. Performance is alway key for us at Borelli Motorsports and we would most definitely advise you to tune after any performance upgrade.

Thanks for the quick reply. So basically with the tuner, I could plug and play right in my own driveway if I wanted to?..Also, would you know approximately how much hp i would pick up with a preset tune as opposed to adjusting on a dyno?

Dont waste your time with the hand held tuner go straight to a dyno tune.Notice how no one commits to answering your question about gains with a hand held tuner.
