Filter advice

I have a chance to buy an airaid brand filter #250-218 for a good price for my C6.
If someone here on the forum has this filter can you tell me if your sastified with the performance.

You will be a LOT happier with a true cold air intake like a VARARAM or the new one that ZIP Products made specifically for the C6

As you know, the stock filter on a LS2 is not the best out there. A lot of people use the Airaid and are happy with it. If you can get it for a really good price, then it will most likely help the performance of your car. I don't seem to see too many complaints from Airaid owners about surging, poor quality, etc as I do with some other brands of intakes.

The Airaid comes with two wings(air dams) that mount on top of the radiator shroud to block the underhood heat from backflowing over the top of the radiator to the air breather compartment. Make sure you get those(and the mounting hardware) with the unit.

If you do the Vararam, use an Amsoil EAA240 filter by Donaldson for superior filtration.
