Hey guys i'm looking to make 400whp with my bolt on's that im planning to purchase. I've done a little research on here but i'm willing to see what you guys think and am open for discussion/suggestions. 07 LS2 A6 car here.
That doesn't sound unreasonable since my 06 LS2 is making 381rwhp with Kooks headers, Borla exhaust, and a tune.
are you a auto or manual?
to the op you will be close
on mine i did 160 thermo, unported fast 102, halltech mf103, lg 1 3/4'' headers (no cats), flowmasters and it made 395 rwhp (sae) but mine is a manual auto lose more power through the drivetrain.
Don't waste money on all that. Just get a sc and blow the 400 away. You won't use the VRAM with a sc and the intake won't get you anything extra with a sc. My 07 was bone stock added the A&A sc and put down 546 rwhp.
OP: We have the same car, 07 A6. Take a look at my mods list for some ideas. I am making 433 RWHP & 413 RWTQ. I also have over 135,000 miles on it and still running strong.

We did an install on a 05 LS2 A4 and put down 573 rwhp on a stock Vette. The Vararam and FAST 102 are not needed and makes a down payment on a blower. The FAST Intakes bring some new problems if you will be installing the SC.
The FAST Intakes are an inch longer and pushes the TB forward 1 inch. That causes the TB motor not to sit in the SC bracket as designed. The TB has to be flipped 180 degrees and you need a TB extension harness from Caspers. Now that the TB Motor is on the driver side, it hits the power steering reservoir. The lower hose needs extended from the reservoir to the pump, 5/8" heater hose. Also, the reservoir will need shimmed by 1" to clear the TB Motor. The spacers that come with the Katech Tensioner are a perfect length for shimming the PS reservoir. With the FAST 102, it is a good idea to use the Hinson Motor Mount and drop the engine by 1/3" to allow better clearance between the cowl and intake.

i have an LS3 with full bolt ons/tune and it pulls pretty decent but not near enough for me. im gonna go forced induction when i can =) from stock to bolt ons...its a noticeable difference but nothing that will blow you away at all.

If I were doing it all over again I'd just straight to an A&A kit (which I now have)
