LS3 Ported Throttle Body Experience
What is your experience with a ported LS3 throttle body and no tune? I had one on my LS2 engine and found the engine to be more responsive than without the ported TB. Just wondering if it would be the same with a LS3 engine or if the stock TB is as good as it gets without a tune.

Lots of debate regarding ported TB's. many have shown gains of 3-5 rwhp and improved throttle response. Others will say that it's not worth the price. I'd say that if your build is approaching its theoretical max, a stock TB may be holding you back and you would definitely benefit from a ported TB. If you're not at that point yet, it's a matter of personal preference.
In the game of Hp, it's a relatively cheap mod. $100-150 for up to 5 rwhp is a deal.
