I have to replace a hub and maybe axle on an 05 C6. The spindle nut is larger than any of the sockets I have and that is the 24mm or 1 1/16. It looks like it is 1 3/8 and I would like to know the metric size I need and the exact size of the socket I need. If you know the size or can offer me an idea where to get that size once I know exactly what it is. I did some further measuring and it looks like it is 32mm. I would really like some confirmation so I can go out and but the correct size socket.

Reason: New information
33mm fit my '05 and then my '08. Some claimed the 33mm didn't fit their car and there was some discussion about different suppliers to the assembly plant so ----.
I very recently put new axle nuts on my car. The original nuts came off with a 33mm socket but I had to get a 34mm for the new ones. The new axle nuts were also a different part number.
EDIT: I believe I got both sockets at Auto Zone.
