Default car chemistry inserts

I have a modified 2007 C6 ( cam , head work, headers, straight thru cats etc) and I had a stock exhaust on the car because I could not find what i thought was an acceptable noise level based on the cars modifications. i already have some hearing loss.
now i have replaced the stock mufflers with a B&B Fusion. on the closed side it is a bit loud and on the open side it is what I expected, very loud. i am now also experiencing some loss of low end torque. this is only be seat of the pants feel. no dyno work yet on this change.
because of the cam i think the loss of back pressure has cost me the low end torque. remember this car was tuned for the stock mufflers that was on there after all engine work was done.
my solution I think is Car Chemistry's inserts. i want to install a two baffle system in the X pipe. this will reduce the loudness some and create a small amount of back pressure giving me possibly better scavenging of the cylinders at lower rpm.
what do you guys think? anyone tried this to get the sound reduced and maybe improved low end torque?

Default Fusion exhaust

For anyone buying the B&B Fusion exhaust be it known that there is a Generation # ( I think it is called that) that might help reduce some noise if you have a highly modified car. When I say modified I mean cam, headers etc. not just a CAI.
The sound coming from my car is way too much for me. I also am very sure I am losing some low end torque.

I have ordered Car Chemistry inserts and will do a sound recording before and after they are installed. I am going to use the three baffle system with hopes to get 5-7 DB reduction in sound and with a little back pressure improve some low end torque.

If you have any experiences with this please comment.

I have zero experience with inserts to reduce noise, but I can't help wonder why you don't solve the problem with a different muffler choice. I'm running AR longtubes with Corsas and find the noise level to be acceptable and especially with no drone at cruise speeds.

Those inserts look very restrictive to me. There is a muffler called a powerstick, i have been thinking about buying a pair and installing them on the x-pipe.
