Would a 2005 Diff fit a 2006 C6?

Default Would a 2005 Diff fit a 2006 C6?
I have a friend of mine who broke his diff on his 2007 and he's thinking of getting my 2005 diff which I'm not using. Would it fit?

It will not fit. The mounting points to the trans are totally different. 06 up diffs only.

Yes, if you replaced both the trans/diff it will fit but not recommended. Do your research regarding the 2005 set up, you might change your mind.

C6 Z06 diff is the way to go. The main shaft in the trans has to be changed to make it work. PM me for details.
