Default Is this a true statement from a dealer?

I took my vette to the dealer for a few things. One of them being to put new friction pins in my drivers door panel so that the bottom half doesn't flap in the wind. I'm picking the car up tonight. I can tear the door down this weekend if I can get part numbers I need so I can purchase new pins.
